ALL   ABOUT   COGGESHALL   ART   GROUP

Coggeshall Art Group was formed in 1993 as an Arts & Craft group, with the aim of providing a local group for practising artists and craftsmen to exchange ideas/techniques. Shades and hopes of another Bardfield Group in the making!

The Group has maintained to hold an annual open art exhibition through the years as well. This year 2024 will see the exhibition move to a new venue, Coggeshall Village Hall Keys Room

Over the years, the group has developed into a friendly group for artists with a common interest in visual art.

The group meets each month apart from January . Our members come from different backgrounds, some have had formal art training, some are self taught. We are not a teaching establishment.   

 

CAG meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month excluding January & July at Christ Church, Stoneham Street, Coggeshall in the evening 7.30pm to 9.30pm

July is a day meeting painting outdoors.

The Programme for meetings vary to include a mix of talks, demonstrations by artists or hands on practical work followed by tea or coffee. 

 

 We welcome new members

Annual Subscription fee is £15 per annum

Non Members are welcome to demonstrations, talks and workshops for a fee of £3.
