WELCOME TO COGGESHALL   ART   GROUP

Coggeshall Art Group was formed in 1993 with the aim of providing a local group for Arts and Crafts , to connect and exchange ideas and techniques. Shades and hopes of another Bardfield Group in the making! ​

After a successful exhibition the group went on to hold an annual exhibition which still continues.

 

Over time the group has developed into a friendly meeting place providing members inspiration for the practice in visual art and to meet fellow artists. Our members come from varied backgrounds, some have formal art training and some are self-taught. 

We are not a teaching establishment.

 

The meetings are monthly,  running from February to November on the first Wednesday of each month apart from May and August at

Christ Church, Stoneham Street, Coggeshall from 7.30pm to 9.30pm

The ​CAG  programme is varied featuring visiting artists, workshops and a day meeting plein air. ​

We welcome new members

 

Membership is an Annual Subscription fee of £20

Meetings are open to non members for a fee of £5 per meeting
