Non members are welcome to meetings for a fee of £5 paid by cash on the door
February 4th – 7.30pm to 9.30pm – The first part of the meeting will be the AGM after which guest artist & picture framer Tony Sabin who will be talking about picture framing focusing on the need to present work that does enhance it covering framing costs, presentation mounting work, colours etc.
March 4th - 7.30pm to 9.30pm – Demo by Artist David Pasfield in acrylics
April 1st - 7.30pm to 9.30pm -Talk by Mary Ratcliffe Designer Artist
May No Meeting – CAG Annual Open Art Exhibition - 23rd to 25th
June 3rd - 7.30pm to 9.30pm - Workshop with pastel artist Teresa Seals.
July 1st - 7.30pm to 9.30pm - Demo - Artist and Craftsman Andrew Fawcett returns to absorb us on the methods & techniques of century old art & crafts this time frescoes.
August 5th – Day Meeting Plein Air - Afternoon at 1pm. The River Blackwater , Coggeshall is the place for the groups painting/sketching outdoors this year, weather permitting, in the event of bad weather the meeting will be cancelled.
Meeting point is at Thompson Gardens, Coggeshall from where we will be accessing part of the river.
You will need to bring your own materials, a stool or chair if you do not want to sit on the ground.
September 2nd - 7.30pm to 9.30pm - Workshop - Life Drawing - A model will be posing for us and artist Liz Pottinger is on hand for expert tuition. You will need to bring your own materials to draw or paint with.
October 7th - 7.30pm to 9.30pm - Artist and CAG member Norah Stocker

Life is an Odyssey
Norah Stocker is a qualified fine artist, printmaker, weaver, design & creative textiles teacher. Ran her own business locally for 16 years. She exhibits throughout East Anglia.
Norah is a group member of ERTF, CAG, CAS, QGBI amongst other groups. Her work explores relativity between the natural world and the cycle of life. An intuitive abstract landscape artist using a variety of mediums and substrates.

November 4th - 7.30pm to 9.30pm - Workshop - Xmas Tree Decorations.
This year Coggeshall Christmas Market is scheduled for 5th December, last year Christ Church held a Christmas Tree Festival and if the church does this year CAG plans to enter a tree.
For the decorations craft wooden circle discs will be provided for you to decorate with paint or even collage wherever your Christmas imagination takes you, could be a bit of a miniature challenge.
You will need to bring paints preferably acrylics & small brushes, for collage glue, scissors & paper images to cut up.
If you do not have acrylics there will be some on hand to use.
